In recent years Mindfulness meditation has increasingly been used to enhance health and well being.  Mindfulness means paying attention in a particular way: on purpose, in the present moment, and non-judgmentally.

Benefits of mindfulness include: Stress reduction, focus, boosts memory, less emotionally reactive, relationship satisfaction, fear modulation and improved well-being.

 The practice helps us to see more clearly the patterns of the mind and teaches us to engage with the present moment, rather than being caught up in thoughts about the past or the future.

Yoga for Stress & Anxiety

  Yoga is increasingly being used for treatment of stress, depression and anxiety.  This yoga class combines yoga and mindfulness practices, and is designed to specifically help people attain and maintain good psychological and physiological health. Based around how the mind and body influence each other, basic yoga postures, gentle breathing techniques, mindfulness and relaxation practices. I offer 1-to-1 consultation or small group tuition, students are encouraged and guided to work with their own capacities and guided to modify practices as needed.
